Description of the visit

This zambra Sacromonte enjoys worldwide reputation as one of the places where flamenco reaches its maximum expression and quality. The origin of the festival dates back to the zambra s. XVI, in particular, at the wedding rituals of the Moors in the city.

The peculiarity of this festival is the location (a cave) and the family nature of the whole show, as most of the artists are members of the same family. The very Sacromonte is an attraction of the zambra, offering panoramic views of the Alhambra unknown to most of the public.

    Transportation service and guide, which includes pick-up at central points (direct pick-up at some hotels on the route is possible) and a tour through the Albayzín neighborhood. This old Arab quarter is known for its narrow streets and squares with panoramic views of the monumental complex of the Alhambra and Generalife.

    2.30 hours approximately. Pick 21.30, and at 24.00 h Return

  • Itinerary:

    Departure from the meeting point in the center of the city to the Paseo de los Tristes, Cuesta del Chapiz and Sacromonte; Flamenco Show (Zambra Gypsy) and last visit to the Mirador de San Nicolas, to enjoy the wonderful view of the illuminated Alhambra.
