Description of the visit

After collection in different hotels we will head towards Granada. We will stop about 25 min. for coffee in Los Abades. Arriving in Granada the following points are developed:

  • 1. Visit the Alhambra and Generalife 2.30 hours.

    The Alhambra is the most interesting monument in Granada and the most beautiful of all those Arab art of all times and countries. so called because of its reddish walls (qa'lat al Hamra) was the residence of rest and recreation of the Nasrid kings. It stands atop a hill called al-Sabika overlooking the city. All this vast site and its surroundings are rich in views over the city, its most characteristic neighborhoods (Albaycin, Alcazaba ,.) and its surroundings. Among its corners we can highlight the Patio de los Leones so called because the source of the center rests 12 lions, the Patio of the Myrtles, the central pond reflects light in the rooms surrounding it, Hall of Ambassadors, the roof this throne room represents the seven heavens of Islamic cosmology, the Palace of Carlos V.

    The Generalife is adjacent to the Alhambra. In it you can see beautiful water features and ponds in a very careful with plenty of flowers garden.
